  1. BulletI am running for the office of United States Representative in the First District of New Hampshire because I do not believe the people of our district have adequate representation in Congress.  Rather than talk with her constituents and represent the will of the people, the current Representative appears to believe that the people of the First District of New Hampshire elected her to do as she - and her party - please.

  2. BulletI am running as an independent because the people of the First District of New Hampshire should have representation, not another mouthpiece for a national political party.

  3. BulletI will accept no financial contributions, not because I am rich, but because too much corruption has come to Washington through actions influenced - consciously or unconsciously - by who financially supported the candidate.

  4. BulletI plan to begin a dialogue with the people of New Hampshire’s First District now, both to determine if I am the best person to represent their wishes in Washington DC and to know their wishes on a deeper level so that I am better prepared to serve them in Washington.

  5. BulletI am not afraid to stand up for my beliefs, and if you elect me I will stand up for your beliefs with the same vigor.  As I told the President at the Portsmouth Town Hall, I have enough conviction that I turned myself in to the now-defunct flag @ whitehouse.gov for spreading information opposing the President’s plan for healthcare.

  6. BulletI am not opposed to healthcare reform, but I am strongly opposed to HR 3200.  While the United States healthcare system is the best in the world for those who seek care in a timely manner, the solution to the existing problems will not be solved through the proposed legislation.  I have many ideas for better solutions, and I expect that the people of this country - and of the First District of New Hampshire in particular - have even more solutions to offer.  Let’s not drink saltwater just because we’re thirsty, but seek out more productive means to solve our problems.
